Does Speak Our Language mean speaking only one language? Heck no! Speak Our Language believes in teaching and learning any language that helps to make communication possible among individuals and communities! Although Speak Our Language currently offers Spanish programs only, we will expand to include additional language courses in the near future.

Our programs are designed to get you using your language skills in authentic, real-life settings. So, we either take the language-learner into the streets of our community – or we bring the community into the classroom to you!

Speak Our Language Owner, Tonya Tiggett, recognized as a VISIONARY finalist by NAWBO.

The Columbus chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) selected finalists from the Columbus area for the much anticipated Visionary Award. NAWBO is in its thirteenth year of recognizing women business owners who own and operate unique businesses with a visionary approach. These women business owners are also recognized for their mentorship with other women and for the contribution each business owner makes to the greater Columbus community through volunteerism.

We are proud that Tonya has been selected in the 2011 class of finalists who will find out the winner at the July 28 NAWBO Visionary Award Luncheon. Stay tuned!
